Regu Chakhar Choling Manilakhang (1966 A.D)
This Manilakhang is located at Bimbirey Ward under Regu Gram Panchayat Unit in East Sikkim. It is locally known as ‘Soreng Gumpa’ built in 1966. The land measuring 1.080 hectares was donated by a lama  Lt. Tenzi Sherpa. The fund for the Manilhakhang was raised by collecting donations and was construction was done by the manual labour of the area locals.
 However, it was damaged by an earthquake and was later repaired with the financial aid from the Government.The first Lama for this Manilhakhang was Lt.Tenzi Sherpa himself. This Manilakhang was made as a common platform for offering prayers by the Sherpa community living in Regu area. The People of different religions living in this area also contribute for the religious activities at this Manilhakhang. It follows Nyingmapa Sect.
