Rongnek Manilakhang (1960 A.D)
This Manilakhang is located at Rongnek village, below Dechenling- Busuk road, East Sikkim. It was built as a Kutcha structure in 1960 A.D. and was later replaced with a one storied stone masonry structure. The land for the Manilhakhang was donated by a devotee named Tamding Bhutia. Behind this Manilhakhang another Lhakhang was built by the public with aid from the Government .
The Altar of the old Lhakhang contains statues of Avalokiteshvara, Namgyalma and other small statues of different deities. The new Lhakhang contains Cho-Long-Trul-sum statues. It is affiliated to Enchey Gonpa . At present, one Care Taker is deputed to look after this Manilhakhang with about 15 Nyamos attending for Mani prayers.
